Laura
Great overall experience, but some staff members could have been friendlier. 😕

Handy and easy location to Roald Dahl Children's Gallery. Airy units with equally woeful menu.

Perfect place for exploring Aylesbury. The particularly good location for the price, near Oxford and good gastro pubs as well as Watermead pub up the road where one COULD eat. Also, in the garden...

The hotel had a central location on the outskirts of Aylesbury. It was near the Waddesdon Christmas light festival in December, the town center, train station, and a nearby pub. My room was equipped with a TV set and coffee facilities....

The room was spacious. It was easy to find and easy to get to. The health club facilities nearby although did not get a chance to use them.
The price of the breakfast was very high. We were in a big group, of about 16 - 20. Most of us ate at the nearby pub attached to the premier inn as the breakfast there was cheaper. The decor was a bit jaded. When you switched the hot water on in the bathroom (in the sink) there was a loud noise.

Reception staff are very friendly.
The hotel is very dated and food selection in the restaurant was terrible. To be honest it isn't really a restaurant!

The staff were charming !! the beauty of building itself and the surrounding countryside enhanced our stay tremendously. The room we had, was elegant and tastefully furnished (we were astonished to find a telephone in the loo !!).. and the view from our window was fabulous !! all in all, excellent in (almost) every way !! see below !!!!
There was a charming Italian chap who was in charge of a very sparsely designed ''Railway Station'' type ''cafe'' !! chairs were not comfortable, and almost everything on the menu... was off the menu !! however !! what we did have were three (there were 3 of us, we were being treated to dinner by a friend) of the best steaks we've ever had !! truly superb quality beef, tender and full of flavour - and the charm of the lovely Italian chef made up for the inadequacies of the ''restaurant''' (hmmmmm !!) itself.

The wifi was good. Welcoming staff at the reception desk.- The room was spotlessly clean and well soundproofed.- The hotel's location was convenient for the nearby Waddesdon Christmas light festival in December.- It was very close to restaurants in the evening as well as the town centre.

Very large room. The window opened. Internet access. Tea and coffee facilities. Comfortable bed.
Fridge didn't work throughout. I asked reception if there was ice as the fridge wasn't working, and there was, but nobody came to check the fridge. On the second morning the shower was icy cold despite running it and the bath connection for 5 minutes - very wasteful of water. Had to shower using the ice bucket and hot water from the sink.

The friendlyness of the staff and the size of the room
The size of the restaurant and the menu availability also unable to get anything to eat before 5pm
